“In 2012, Hector Garcia started with $750 and a passion to help the local business owner find real growth and leads using the power of Google. Using his daughter’s pink bedroom as an office and a new invested Apple computer along with sweat, red-eye hours and some tears, SiteJab has grown into a successful digital marketing agency in Houston.”
How is your business innovating and providing something new?
“While most of our competition provides SEO, PPC, and social media only, we provide lead generation services using those strategies. We aren’t an SEO Company—we are a leads company. Business owners hire SiteJab for leads.”
What does the future look like for your company?
“In the next year, we’ll be expanding from 6 employees to 15. This summer we’ll be opening a location in Miami with future expansion in other markets as well.”

When did you first feel successful?
“We first realized we were on to something when our first customer sold an $8,000 order from a lead we generated for them using Google.”
What has been the biggest challenge in starting a business?
“Finding passionate staff and employees is difficult. After a few years, we have been blessed to have an amazing team. To add to that, the stress of working cashflow was new to us. We don’t have investors or large capital. Our operations were solely dependent on cash flow and receivables to grow. We’ve done it though.”
